GRILLED ASPARAGUS

Wild asparagus is FREE and FULL OF HEALTH BENEFITS!!! We taste tested four common, simple ways to grill asparagus: one with butter, one with extra virgin olive oil, one with Lawry’s Seasoned Salt and one with freshly squeezed lemon juice… here’s the winner of our taste buds! Enjoy!

Don’t like asparagus? I’ll admit, I’m a pickier eater and actually didn’t like it at first (I wanted to!), but I just loved to gather it and share it with family! It’s so fun! So each time we cooked it, I just tried a little bit. After several springs, I found I love it too!

INGREDIENTS:

asparagus spears

extra virgin olive oil

salt

pepper

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat grill for medium heat. Make a long cupped “boat” out of tin foil. Place asparagus spears in foil and lightly coat with olive oil. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Close the tin foil and place on grill for about 10 minutes, or to desired tenderness.

*No ingredient measurements due to wild game, fish and gathered food always being in different sizes and different amounts.
